On completion of Phase -1 of  PROJECT GALAXY' one suite and four single rooms have been operationalised at DSOI, Gurgaon. These rules lay down the guiding principles and methodology of booking and utilization of residential accommodation at the institute. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28"><strong>Eligibility for Occupation </strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">A members' wife, dependant children, dependent parents, brother/sister relations and guests may be permitted to stay with the member. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The Secretary may on case to case basis permit such dependents, relations and guest of a member to occupy transit accommodation in the institute even if unaccompanied by the member. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c)&nbsp; </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The allottee, before occupation shall give an undertaking that these Rules have been read and will be strictly adhered to by him. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Types of Accommodation </strong> : The following two types of residential accommodation is available for utilization: </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">VIP Suite : 01 </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Single Rooms : 04 </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Traiff </strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"><u>Suite </u> : Rs. 1450/- plus Rs. 150/- as breakfast charges if double occupancy of a room else Rs. 75/- as breakfast charges in case of Single occupancy. If breakfast is not required by the member the charges shall not be levied. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"><u>Single Room </u> : Rs. 950/- plus breakfast charges for single/double occupancy as applicable for Suite. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c)&nbsp; </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"><u>Misc Charges </u> : </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td width="31"><span class="style28">i)</span></td> <td width="586" colspan="3"><span class="style28">Each room shall be provided with provisions for four cups of tea on daily basis. Additional Tea/Coffee orders will be billed by the institute. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td><span class="style28">ii)&nbsp; </span></td> <td colspan="3"><span class="style28">Owing to extensive power cut during summer season the utilization of generators for 100% power back-up is essential. In such a scenario Rs. 150/- day will be charged as AC running charges from the occupant. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td><span class="style28">iii)&nbsp; </span></td> <td colspan="3"><span class="style28">Local tele calls shall be charged @ Rs.3/- per call. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">d)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"><strong>Fixation of Tariff </strong> : Tariff will fixed from time to time &amp; is subject to revision without any advance info. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Vacation </strong> : The accommodation must be vacated after expiry of the period of occupation/allotment. The Secretary may give an extension of three days at his discretion subject to availability. The check out time is 24 hrs from 10am to 10am next day. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Booking Procedure/Payment </strong>: The booking of guest rooms shall be done as under : </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Checking of availability from the Secy. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Payment of 100% booking amount to ensure issue of confirmation receipt. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Clearance of final bill prior vacation of guest rooms. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">d)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Booking will not confirmed till the requisite tariff is paid to the accounts section. In case of queries from any other member, the room shall be open for allotment to him. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Catering Service </strong>: The catering services shall be provided as under: </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Meals can be ordered on telephone directly with the catering representative or through the attendant. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Liquor will not be served in the rooms. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Room service is available up to 2200 hrs. All orders/delivery of meal should be completed prior to the laid down timings. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">d)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Club remains closed on Tuesday. Catering service on this day shall be provided as under: </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td width="31"><span class="style28">i)</span></td> <td colspan="3"><span class="style28">Institute restaurant shall only provide breakfast on Tuesday</span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td><span class="style28">ii)&nbsp; </span></td> <td colspan="3"><span class="style28">Menu Card/contact details of nearby restaurants is available with the institute. Members shall be required to place their lunch/dinner order for room delivery latest by 1100 hrs. &amp; 1900 hrs. No further requests for food delivery shall be entertained after the said timings.</span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Cancellation of Reservation </strong>: The cancellation charges are as follows: </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Prior 10 days to date of requirement : Nil </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">10 days to 72 hrs : 5% </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">72 hrs to 24 hrs : 25% </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">d)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">24 hrs : 50% </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">e)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">Non occupation despite booking : 100%</span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Luggage </strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">The member/occupants can drive to the basement parking &amp; ask for baggage trolleys from the Security Guard present. The baggage can then be carried with the help of trolley to the third floor by using the lift service. In no case any luggage will be left outside the room or in any part of the corridor. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Loss of Property</strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The institute shall not be liable for loss of money valuable &amp; other property belonging to any resident member or for any damage to the luggage, article or other property caused by any reason. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">In the event of any loss, it shall be the duty of the member to report the same in the first instance to the Secretary as well as civil police in writing for necessary enquiry and action. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Unauthorised Use of Accommodation </strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">a) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The resident member shall not allow any other person to make use of the accommodation allotted to him either free of charge or any other consideration. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The accommodation shall not be used for preferential or business purpose. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">The residential accommodation shall not be sublet under any circumstances. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; <strong>Miscellaneous </strong></span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td width="36"><span class="style28">a)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"> No electric/other fittings shall be installed or any other alterations made in the institute rooms by the occupant.</span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">b)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"> Private servants of resident members shall not be admitted to the institute. They shall also not be permitted to sleep in any part of the institute premises. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">c) </span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28">No occupant shall create any undue noise or play video/tape/musical instrument or behave in any other manner so as to cause any nuisance/annoyance to his neighbors or other members of the institute. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">d)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"> All payment will be made by local cheques to DSOI for booking/settlement of final bills. Cash payments will only be accepted by the Accounts Section of the Institute.</span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">e)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"> Hiring a room for entertaining guests by serving liquor or playing cards inside the allotted room shall not be permitted under any circumstance. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td><span class="style28">f)</span></td> <td colspan="4"><span class="style28"> Only one key will be handed over to the occupant. The institute shall retain the duplicate key. For loss of key, the requisite cost shall be recovered from the occupant. Duplicate key will not be handed over to the occupant. </span></td> </tr> <tr class="style20"> <td colspan="5"><span class="style28">&#149;&nbsp; Copy of the rules is available both with the Accounts office &amp; inside all rooms of the institute. Members are requested to read and certify adherence to the same.
